- ★★★★★over 2 years agoFished here for 25+ years (both ice and open water) and you need to know when and where to go and have a little patience. Even then it can be slow. Even though the fishing isn't like it was a century a go, you can catch 3+ pound Brookies and 5lb Togue are not uncommon. If you want a chance at larger Togue, go to a bigger lake like Schoodic or Moosehead.
