- ★★★★★over 6 years agoManaged to only hook a 24" jack.. so too small to keep, before we had battery problems on the boat. Had a moment where most Americans (north) would of wet them selves. Trees surrounding the campsite, except across the back, was an open meadow leading to an impossible walk to the lake. So no traffic. A few see through tiny wisps of clouds dotted across the sky. All of a sudden a super bold crisp rainbow appears, can't see any rain. No clouds to support it. Then a Bald Eagle flys across the scene. All I was missing was a unicorn to come prancing out from the meadow. Absolutely amazing!
- ★★★★★about 3 years agoBest lake ever to catch huge trout!!!😍 Love the golden larches during autumn.
- ★★★★★over 3 years agoSummer camping and fishing well this is the place a 2.5hrs from calgary but worth coming and visiting this awesome place.
- ★★★★★about 8 years agoA great place for Northern Pike fishing. The lake is clean and fairly shallow with a good population of Northern Pike and Wallye. It is pretty easy to catch a 4 or 5 pound pike (we used size 3 to 6 red Mepps) but beware the 100cm restriction on keeper size. The shallow bottom means weeds can be a bit of a challenge. All in all a clean lake with consistent fish.
- ★★★★★over 5 years agoGreat quiet campground with private sites and plenty of room, beach was nice and water was great! We went in June and were going again in July!
