Came here for the first time at the entrance dock and we could see almost clear water with sun shining in its core and the lake giving our blue and green shades of waves. Can’t describe in words the beauty I have experienced. There is a resort right next, where you have access to the private areas of the lake. The sound of waves were perfect example of serenity us music of nature. Loved the place. There are multiple parking places available at the dock. Couple of picnic areas and shot trails. There is restroom and water faucet for visitors. Must visit place!

- ★★★★★over 5 years agoIron Mountain Campground on DeGray Lake has many campsites close to the water. All are electric and water is close, but not at each site. It's a very peaceful place, and I haven't seen a mosquito. This campground has no designated swimming area, but the State Park side of the lake has several, or just swim in one of the coves. There are numerous hiking and biking trails, from less than a mile to over 10 miles in length. Along with camping, trails and swimming, there is also a golf course, horse riding, boating, fishing and sightseeing. It's a good getaway. Might be better if I didn't have a phone signal 🤷♂️.
