- ★★★★★about 2 years agoDewey Lake offers a picturesque hiking experience, taking you through a stunning 3-mile downhill trail. The beauty of the hike can be appreciated both on the descent and the ascent, making it a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend visiting during the fall season when the colors are at their most vibrant, adding an extra touch of magic to the surroundings. Whether you're an avid hiker or simply looking for a scenic adventure, Dewey Lake is definitely worth a visit.
- ★★★★★about 1 year agoIt was a beautiful and very peaceful hike.
- ★★★★★over 7 years agoAbsolutely beautiful lake just about 4 miles from hwy 410 at the very top of Chinook pass. Nice easy hike, the first mile or so is a gradual climb and then it's down down down to the lake. The mosquitos are pretty bad so bring bug spray and something to float on in the lake. The trail is busy, especially in the weekends but there's plenty of camp spots. The views of mt Rainier are wonderful and the wildflowers from mid-late July will absolutely knock your socks off! Bring the camera!
