- ★★★★★about 2 years agoAbsolutely stunning views! I took these videos one day apart. Amazing how some snow completely changes the scenery. I definitely want to come back during summer.
- ★★★★★about 2 years agoThis lake is beautiful. Seen lots of fishing. I did not see many swimmers at all it was very windy I suggest you take warm clothing like jackets and sweaters. Water was is merky, windy you could see white caps. We did go on September 16, 2023 so the weather was a day more like fall. Restrooms clean, places to sit to eat and barbecue but barbecue were wrapped in caution tape. Beautiful paths covered in flowers to get to the water lots of boating docks.
- ★★★★★over 2 years agoBeautiful country! The people staying in the sites around me were all very friendly too. Maybe it was my Texas flag and the smell of Oak wood burning on my fire that warmed them up to me. It got cold on this late spring night in July. 38 degrees to be exact, but the smoke of the fire I lit was a great deterrent for all the mosquitos that swarmed around sunset. The chipmunks, rabbits, and other ground dwelling animals came out in the evening in large numbers as well. There were too many to count. I even fed a brave little chipmunk who worked up the courage to come to my picnic table. Great place to take the family and your boat and do some fishing 🎣
