Never made it to JerseyField lake, it's a highly remote place. I took a dirt road down here nearly 10 miles and never made it because it's a good 30 minutes from me until you hit dirt, then another 30 down the road because it's so rough. Recently got a jeep and will probably return. Great place to take a road trip to see a lake and drive down and probably even offroad. Most of the lake is private, but some coast is public, just surrounded by private land, I was given permission to go from someone's land but never made it. If you go download a offline Google map, (watch a video on it) because it's remote and I lost service, caught some service and it said I took the wrong dirt road, (most is straight but there is 1 split once you are near the lake). Good luck, and I heard its beautiful! Very average andirondack lake, research up before you go. Good for a whole day road trip, overnight overland camp trip, lake swimming picnic fishing, just find public access and id reccomend having 4wd for most of the public lake access, but you can make it down the road.
