A hidden gem. Great fishing and boating with views of the NH White Mountains.

I spent many a summer and a parts of autumn at or near Kezar Lake. It is NOT in Fryeburg, ME but in Lovell. Lovell is near Fryeburg, where I spent my last 2 years of high school. It's a great place for swimming, boating, fishing and close to great spots to pick wild blueberries. The lake is home to loons, turtles, frogs and an abundance of fish like bass, perch, bullhead, pickerel, lake trout and landlocked salmon.

One of the cleanest nicest lakes in all of Maine. Has good size at about 7 miles long. There are a few areas with loons and other wading birds to watch. The hils and mountains around the lake are spectacular; especially in the fall. Winter with ice fishing is terrific.
