Huge body of water. There were only 3 or four other boats then us out here. Lots of bogs to fish around.

Very large body of water. The flowage is made up of small lakes and streams which merged when the river was dammed. Actually if you aren’t familiar with the lake, you can get lost. We had a guide for one trip and went to many out of the way nooks and had great success. It is still very wild and is beautiful. Caught my to date, only northern pike on the flowage. Have been there in the spring and fall. Fall is my favorite time, but anytime is a great time.

16,000 acres of pristine wilderness as only 10% of the shoreline is allowed to be developed. Even in the middle of summer, the lake is not crowded - plenty of room to fish, ski, tube...and just relax on any of the 200 islands throughout this stunning lake.

Wisconsin's only lake where the shore line and nature is preserved, and the fishing is great
