I've fished while trolling in a boat with a motor and from a kayak. Swimming in the water is fun on hot summer days

This is a great fishing place. Just note the best times to visit are between April and June. The road is a bit rough, so you want a vehicle like a truck or a full SUV with a high base. The reservoir is currently pretty low, so you do not want to park close to the water, as it's very muddy and can get any vehicle stuck. Even if you have decent tires. Beautiful scenery and a quiet place to relax.

There isn't great access to the lake and is a little off the paved road. The dirt road to the lake is well maintained. There isn't a great way to get close to the lake without 4 wheel drive. There isn't a true place to park either. Fishing was excellent.

Best consistent fishing in central Utah. Fish at the inlets with a nightcrawler, you can't go wrong!
