Reviews
- ★★★★★about 1 year agoBeautiful and expansive place to kayak. Traffic on 43 is loud near the main launch spot, but it gets much quieter going east or to the west under the bridge and then to the northwest of the lake.
- ★★★★★over 1 year agoQuiet and nice place to go but the water is very very dirty. No luck for fishing and we were out on our kayaks for about 4 hours.. couple who came and left same time as us had no luck other on a boat. They should have garbage cans for people to throw trash out , maybe so much wouldn’t end up in the water. Water was super green, and we’ve been places like La Due, Namissilin.. didn’t want to get in to cool off/take a quick swim when done due to this.
- ★★★★★over 4 years agoWhat a wonderful time my husband & I had here today. The fishing was AMAZING!!!! We started at 7a.m. left a little after 5p.m. My husband caught multiple types of fish throughout the day. Couple Perch, bluegill, couple channel cat & 1"huge" blue cat. We saw multiple types of animals frogs, toads, colorful dragon flies, snakes, osprey & muskrat. Beautiful butterflies everywhere. We had a wonderful time together, I can't wait to go with him again!
