- ★★★★★11 months agoWe just stopped in to talk to Debbie about group sales. She was wonderful andso much Help but so were the people at the front desk. And Eva the housekeeper was very kind and helpful. There was a maintenance guy that showed us a couple of the cabins. I believe his name was John and he was super sweet and patient to take time out of his day to help us out. We are looking forward to having our family reunion there summer 2025.
- ★★★★★about 1 year agoPipestem is a gorgeous park. There is not a bad view anywhere you go. It houses a restaurant inside the resort. The candied pecan, strawberry salad with blackened chicken was delicious! We preformed for a wedding and I could not get over the views!
- ★★★★★over 1 year agoThis trip was a much needed camping trip! We had a great time. We stayed on site 61, and there was plenty of room. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The park is well maintained. There are so many hiking trails, and the scenery is beautiful! If you are a Waterfall Wanderer, there are several "check-ins" you can get using Pipestem as your home base!
- ★★★★★about 1 year agoThis is a very quiet SP about 15 miles off the interstate. If you're driving an RV, the Princeton exit takes you on a much easier drive. We stayed in the upper loop with water and sewer only. Site 70 and 74 are the most level to park our 43 foot Newmar coach. Also had room to park the Mini Cooper. The office is responsive. They delivered firewood right away. The trash is picked up from your site daily. The State Park grounds are gorgeous. We hiked quite a bit and enjoyed the nature center. The tram to the creek is still closed. I'm hopeful we can enjoy it next time we camp here. #AlmostHeaven
- ★★★★★about 1 year agoOver the past five-years, we have averaged 4-5 trips annually to the Pipestem lodge. The drive from Ohio to Pipestem is five-hours each way, but we simply love the facility and the staff. ALL OF THE STAFF treats us like we are family: Front desk staff, office support staff, dining room staff, housekeeping, grounds keepers, maintenance - - EVERY ONE OF THEM treats us like family (the kind of family you really like to be around - - assuming you don't count Uncle Cleatus). We will come back to visit again and again.
