- ★★★★★over 3 years agoSuch a gorgeous hike! The lake is beautiful and it’s nestled in the breathtaking mountains of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Most of the snow has melted except for a short segment of the trail about 1 mile from the peak. The hike is about 10.5 miles round trip.
- ★★★★★over 2 years agoI didn’t make it all the way up the trail to the lake. There was still literally five or six foot high snow banks on the trail and that was in early June 2023. I think it will be gone by July so I’m going to try it again. I did make it almost three miles in. I think the map said the lake was four miles in. From what I saw it was amazing. The surrounding mountains were beautiful. I am determined to make it back there soon. Maybe we will bump into each other.

- ★★★★★almost 8 years agoBeautiful area. Could just be me, but I was slightly confused at some of the trailhead directions—hiked until I ended up here almost by accident. All things considered, well worth anyone’s time. Beautiful panoramas all around, and a great place to bushwhack a few mountains.
